Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, subscribing to the program, or using the BATSU application (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

BATSU is an Accountability Bootcamp. You set up to 3 daily tasks (“pact”), commit a dollar amount (“batsu”), and complete your tasks by 2 AM in your local timezone. If you fail to complete your tasks, you are charged your batsu amount. The Service is designed to create real financial consequences for inaction.

3. How Forfeits Work

This is the core mechanic of BATSU. Please read carefully:

  • Weekends and holidays are off by default. However, if you choose to set a pact on an off day, that day becomes active and forfeit rules apply.
  • On active days, you set up to 3 must-do tasks as part of your pact.
  • If any task is incomplete at 2 AM (in your timezone), your stored payment method is automatically charged your batsu amount.
  • If you do not set a pact for the day, your default batsu amount is still charged. Not setting tasks does not exempt you from your commitment.
  • Charges are processed off-session via your stored payment method. No additional confirmation is requested at the time of charge.
  • Forfeits are final and non-refundable. By using the Service, you expressly consent to these automatic charges.

4. Billing

Your subscription auto-renews at the end of each bootcamp cycle unless you cancel before the renewal date. The current program fee is displayed at checkout.

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not refund the current cycle's program fee.

Daily batsu forfeits are separate from and in addition to the program fee.

5. Iron Will Guarantee

If you complete the full bootcamp with genuine effort and do not see meaningful change, we will refund your program fee. The guarantee covers the program fee only. Daily batsu forfeits are non-refundable. See the full Iron Will Guarantee page for details.

6. Account & Deletion

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time through the account deletion page or by emailing ak.labz.mvp@gmail.com. Account deletion does not entitle you to a refund of program fees or forfeits already charged.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. AK-Labz is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to: missed notifications, timezone calculation errors, payment processing failures, or service interruptions. In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid for the current billing cycle.

8. Prohibited Use

You may not use the Service for any unlawful purpose, attempt to reverse-engineer the application, or abuse the payment dispute process. Filing fraudulent chargebacks may result in immediate account termination.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in accordance with applicable federal and state law.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or in-app notification. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
